Polar Fleece-270 is a medium weight material. Polar Fleece is a synthetic polyester material that does not absorb moisture, but rather helps to wick it away from the body. Jackets or sports vests made of fleece are lightweight, very warm and quite durable, especially if they are reinforced at the shoulders and elbows with an extra layer of outer fabric such as Oxford.
